Every year the residents of this family friendly neighbourhood fully embrace the Halloween theme in the Tapley’s Farm section of Whistler by creating extensive decorations, haunted houses and more. The municipality closes off the streets to all cars so local children and adults can trick or treat and meet friends in a safe environment.
In support of this great community event, Coast Mountain Photography embraced the chance to donate our very popular live view Green Screen photo studio including instant prints on site. We know how much work everyone puts into creating their very unique costumes and having a chance to capture that is an added bonus. Once people experience our Green Screen we can see their excitement because they know they will be receiving a truly distinctive photo. Whether it is your first Halloween or you are seasoned veteran, Whistler locals like to channel their inner child and let loose.
As with most Halloween endeavours, we witnessed some very creative parents who went over and above to provide their children with entertaining costumes, not to mention the adults who were simply looking for an excuse to dress up. Everyone has a great time at this community event, run and managed by Whistler Locals who take pride in all its aspects.
The Whistler Question created a full page spread of the best photos so if you did not have a chance to look through it please see below for our favourites! There were so many great costumes and we can only feature a small selection, THANK YOU to everyone who participated.
