The Sulphur Institute’s World Symposium comes to Vancouver

When the Sulphur Institute gathers for its World Symposium, it’s not a large affir.  The key players in the sulphur industry are finite and know each other well.

With a recommendation from Tourism Vancouver, Coast Mountain Photography were selected through a multi bidder process to be the photographers of choice for this important business conference. An annual event that attracts sulphur industry leaders for two days of expert speakers, networking events, and industry tours. Over 150 delegates, from over 30 countries turned out to this year's event. With delegates representing organizations from the entire sulphur value chain. With a review of leading industry practises, analysis of sulphur supply and demand forcasts and speakers from the entire value chain it was a prime oppotunity to increase sulphur industry knowledge with immense resources coming online from projects in Morocco, Dubai, and other oil producing countries, the yellow piles will grow as do those in North Vancouver – visible from the seawall in Stanley Park.

With the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Vancouver as the backdrop, great new information, industry challenges, and key networking opportunities were created for participants.  Guests also took part in impressive North Shore tours including the highly secure sulphur loading facility for international export. Through it all, Coast Mountain Photography documented the key speakers, networking, trade show exchanges, and sponsored receptions and events.  Photography will be utilized for sponsor fulfillment, SULPHUR magazine, and other public relations and marketing needs of the Institute.
