Supporting Our Local Community

09-11-2017

As part of the role as a locally owned and operated business, we proactively look for new and repeat ways to support and benefit the community where we live.  Here’s a synopsis of a busy month of charity and non profit support by our photographers and owners.

Coast Mountain Photography is proud to be approaching our 24th year in business as the Sea to Sky corridor’s largest portrait, event and commercial photography production company. Here’s a synopsis of a busy month of charity and non profit support by our photographers and owners.

Whistler Search and Rescue (SAR) Benefit.  Coast Mountain donated a scenic signature fine art wall print of the Aurora Borealis mounted on Canvas for their charity auction.

Whistler Animals Galore (WAG) WOOF Weekend.  Working closely with our partners at the Westin Whistler Resort, we were pleased to once again provide two open concept Photo Booth studios.  First at the K9 Wine & Dine, we offered a fantastic Green Screen photo opportunity with a storybook holiday living room scene.  The second Photo Booth the next day was more of a Portrait Studio with a special pedestal for dogs to be captured more easily with their owners.

Whistler Blackcomb ‘Magnetic’ World Movie Premiere.  In support of our long term partnership with Whistler Blackcomb, we were pleased to provide both a Green Screen and an event documentation photographer for the launch of this exciting ski action movie.

Mother-Son Scavenger Hunt.  In response to the fantastic Father-Daughter event and timeless portraits provided by Coast Mountain Photography, the moms of Whistler created their own special outing with their sons.  This fun and unique Scavenger Hunt comes complete with an outdoor environmental portrait along the way, courtesy of Coast Mountain Photography.  Prints are ready within a few hours for 100+ teams.

Zero Ceiling Charity 20th Anniversary Celebration.  Zero Ceiling has been creating fantastic opportunities for teenagers and young adults through the Sea to Sky Corridor.  They provide housing, employment and professional support to live healthy independent lives. In support of their Gala celebrating 20 years of this amazing community benefit, we will be donating all photography services for their event and ongoing marketing, social media, and archival purposes.
